The locations of your TB number on your property are accurately recorded and stored on our database. Your property will also be fitted with a visible plate showing that it is protected by Thiefbeaters - stating clearly that it is REGISTERED and IDENTIFIABLE - the two biggest deterrents to a potential thief. This plate also gives the telephone number for Thiefbeaters making recovery reports straightforward.

Your registration document:

After a Thiefbeaters theft deterrent solution has been fitted to your property you will be issued with an official Registration Document. This document outlines the locations of the TB number on your property as well as giving a full description and details of the registered owner/keeper. Once you have this document, your property is protected. There are no ongoing registration costs, only a one off payment for installation.

Back up service:

Your registration document will show the emergency telephone number to call if your property is lost or stolen. This number is covered by one of our professional advisors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just call with your details to hand and we will take it from there.

Change of ownership or appearance:

If and when you sell your property then registration is transferred to the new owner. Either fill in the online form or call our advisors to update our database. If any of the details on your registration document change, then you are required to tell Thiefbeaters immediately - for example change of address or changes in the physical appearance of your property ie colour, additions.

What is a microdot?

Microdot identification is a process where tiny identification tags are etched or coded with a given vehicle's unique number. The microdots are brushed or sprayed onto the key parts of an asset to provide complete parts marking. The technology was developed in the United States in the 1990's before being commercialized by various manufacturers and distributors around the world. Various governments, companies, and manufacturers have begun using microdot identification to protect their assets. This covert technology is aimed at deterring thieves, particularly car thieves, who would have otherwise been able to rework vehicles as well as sell stolen vehicle parts as legitimate ones.
